At Legacy Aircraft Instruments, all items certified with form 8130-3, that are repaired or overhauled are covered by our warranty. 

 

Our warranty policy:

Repairs
Instruments and Accessories we complete, as repaired, for return to service, with form 8130-3 and a detailed Tear-down report, per our Repair Station procedure, have a limited ninety (90) day warranty.  This warranty applies to our workmanship and parts provided, as noted per the actual repairs performed, on the detailed Tear-down report.  This warranty starts on the day of certification, as noted by the date on the form 8130-3.

Overhauls
Instruments and Accessories we complete, as overhauled, for return to service, with form 8130-3 and a detailed Tear-down report, per our Repair Station procedure, have a one (1 year) year warranty, applying to our workmanship and parts provided, as noted on the detailed Tear-down report.  This warranty starts on the day of certification, as noted by the date on the form 8130-3.

Items certified with the form 8130-3, that are inspected only, which is also frequently referred to as "bench tested," as noted on the form 8130-3 as "Test," are not covered under warranty, in that no repair workmanship or parts have been provided.

Flight instruments and accessories not certified with the form 8130-3 and a detailed Tear-down report, are not covered under the warranty.  The issuance of a "work order" only, does not confer, or imply warranty coverage.

 

Please note that physical damage, application of inappropriate power, pressures or other forces are not covered under warranty.  Legacy Aircraft Instruments is not responsible for items damaged or lost in shipping.
